The Band Perry Perform to a Sold-Out Crowd at Houston Live Stockshow and Rodeo

Recently referred to as “the hardest working band in country music,” Republic Nashville super-trio, The Band Perry, brought their high-energy, hit-infused sound to Texas this week where they performed to a SOLD-OUT crowd of more than 74,000. Their appearance catapulted them in the upper echelon, garnering the 3rd-highest attendance record in Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo history.

“We are thrilled to have had such a talented trio perform on the RodeoHouston® stage,” said Leroy Shafer, chief operating officer of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™. “Just two short years ago, The Band Perry made their Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo debut by playing at our World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest, and now, they are selling out Reliant Stadium and breaking RodeoHouston records. Their presence is definitely known in Houston.”

“We love our fans in Texas and we appreciate their support. The energy coming back to us from the audience was just incredible. We had a GREAT time this week in Houston and we can’t wait to come back!” says Kimberly Perry. The siblings treated their fans to new tunes, their current single "Postcard From Paris" and the chart-topping "If I Die Young" and "All Your Life" from their self-titled, debut album.

The Band Perry, who earned last year's coveted ACM New Artist of the Year, is nominated for ACM Group of the Year and will perform on the April 1 award show in Las Vegas. They will then head back out on Brad Paisley's VIRTUAL REALITY WORLD TOUR 2012.
